Business Intelligence use cases and solutions
From Pipeline to Dashboard
See how AI is changing Data Engineering and Analytics in Qlik
In this webinar, we will show how AI agents can support the entire journey from data pipelines and trusted data products to analysis and dashboards in Qlik.
You will see how AI works directly with data, identifies uncertainty instead of making silent assumptions, combines different sources with business logic, and turns a simple question into a complete analysis.
Agenda
11:00 Welcome
Opening: Agentic AI Starts with AI Readiness
Turan Pinar,
Principal Solutions Architect at Qlik, explains why AI readiness is the foundation for successful Agentic AI initiatives. He provides an overview of the Qlik Agentic Architecture and outlines how trusted data, governance and the right business context create the conditions for scalable and successful AI applications.
He also highlights Qlik’s key differentiators and shows how Trust, Context and Freedom help organisations make their data ready for AI and use it more effectively.
Live Demo: AI in Data Engineering: From Pipeline to Trusted Data Product
Benjamin Gnädig, VP Data & Cloud at HICO Group, will take a closer look at the Data Engineering side of Qlik Talend Cloud.
Live, he will show how a coding agent such as Claude can work directly with pipeline definitions, clean data and flag uncertain cases for manual review instead of simply making assumptions.
The Qlik Data Product Agent then brings multiple sources and business logic together into a governed data product. The Qlik Trust Score helps make data reliability transparent by explaining what influences the score instead of simply displaying a number.
Impulse: Agentic AI in Qlik Analytics: From Question to Dashboard
Christoph Schmeisser, Teamlead Analytics Germany at HICO Group, will focus on the Analytics side of Qlik Cloud.
Using Qlik Answers, he will show how a simple question can generate a complete Profit & Loss analysis with KPIs, explanations and dynamic charts based on live data. Relevant visualisations can then be turned into a ready-to-use worksheet.
Custom Assistants and Knowledge Bases make it possible to combine company data with external documents, such as competitor figures, in a single answer.
Finally, the MCP integration extends the workflow beyond Qlik itself. External AI tools such as Claude can securely access the same governed Qlik data and work with it across applications.
What makes this truly agentic is the interaction of specialised AI agents for data analysis, interpretation and visualisation, working together within a governed environment.
